Card Magnets Keep Your Appointments

If you need to get the name of your business out there in a relatively inexpensive way, think about card magnets. They can be customized with your business information and distributed in several ways. TV, radio spots and flyers are expensive ways to promote your business or services.

You can get custom designed business card magnets, or choose from existing formats and have them ready to hand out in 8-10 days. You can choose your logo and the information you want to include, such as hours of operation and phone or fax numbers. I have several on my fridge. Our favorite pizza place is one of them and there is a magnetic appointment card from our vet that can be reused. The numbers are handy, right where I can access them easily.

You can hand them out as people visit your business or include them with delivery items or purchases. You can combine them seasonal greetings or calendars that can be mailed. You just address the other side, add postage and mail. The veterinary hospital I worked in for many years sent them out yearly on a calendar format. The clients loved getting them and always commented when they came in for a visit. Of course, we chose the cutest animal pictures for the calendars and the bottom line is; people love to get something free. It lets them know you appreciate their business while promoting yours.

If you’re not sure how this might work for you and you already have a ton of business cards, you can purchase peel and stick magnets and use what you already have. You can go as simply as you want. If it seems to be working out, there are magnets in eye catching colors and designs that will call attention to your card. They can be ordered at office supply stores, from catalogs, or online. Most places will email or fax you a proof before you pay so that you can make any necessary changes before they are printed and sent to you.

For an investment of a few hundred dollars, you can get your name and your business noticed by a lot of people. Just remember, if your name and number is handy, people will be more likely to call you instead of looking through the phone book or online for services. Card magnets are a great way to make sure you’re the first person they call.
